Ananda Marga Kindergartens in the Favelas of Sao Paulo
Didi Ananda Jaya runs three kindergartens in the favelas of Sao Paulo: Jardin Peri Alto, Jardin Guarani, and Jardin Florida Paulista. She started in 1989 with 45 children and five employees and now she has over 400 children aged 0-9 and 80 employees. More recently she also started a before-and-after school centre for the local children of Jardin Peri Alto.
